UAL--Oops.

UAL (United Air Lines) accidentally posted a press release from 2002 declaring bankruptcy. The stock temporarily fell to a penny, and is still down about 20% on the day. I feel bad for the guy who hit 'send' on that one.

I guess that is why there are always a ton of buy orders sitting at 0.01, just in case someone happens to wipe out all the bids. Although in this case I'm pretty sure that the trades will be reversed.

Although funny, have a gander at the Shroder Asia chart (uk:sdp) and wind it back to 2004. Some poor City fella City had a the worst fat fingers possible.
